The Orange Sky Magic

Lily loved visiting her grandmother's old house. Best of all, she got to see her friend Leo, who lived next door. They spent every afternoon playing in the big backyard between their houses.

One Tuesday, Leo found something amazing behind the garden shed. "Lily! Come quick!" he called, waving his baseball glove excitedly. "I found a magic orange cable!"

Lily ran over, her curly hair bouncing. The cable wasn't just orange — it glowed like sunshine! It stretched from Leo's backyard all the way to a mysterious small shed grandmother called her 'padel court.' But this was no ordinary court. Inside, walls shimmered with tiny lights.

"I bet this cable powers something magical," Lily said. She and Leo decided to follow its path, careful not to disturb anything.

What they discovered took their breath away. The orange cable connected to a small box that made the whole padel court sparkle with golden lights. When they stepped inside, suddenly the floor became a mirror showing a beautiful world below — fields of rainbow flowers, rivers of sparkling water, and children playing games they'd never seen before.

"We shouldn't touch anything," Leo said wisely. "But we can watch and learn."

They spent wonderful hours just watching, careful not to disturb the magic. They saw how children from that magical world played together, sharing everything, helping when someone fell, always including everyone.

When grandmother found them, she smiled. "You found the Window of Wonder," she said. "It shows us how friendship should be — kind, patient, and full of joy. The orange cable only works for children with pure hearts."

That night, Lily and Leo promised to always be good friends, to share like the magical children, and to treat everyone with kindness. They learned that the real magic wasn't the glowing cable or the magical world below — it was friendship itself.

Every summer after, they visited the Window of Wonder together, always careful, always grateful, and always the best of friends.
