The Orange Pyramid Secret

Lily discovered the old iphone buried beneath her grandmother's orange tree. Its screen glowed with golden light, showing a map to something wonderful.

"Grandma, what's this?" Lily asked, wiping dirt from the screen.

Grandma's eyes twinkled. "That iphone belongs to the Magic Garden. It shows hidden wonders to those who believe."

That night, Lily followed the glowing map past the lemon trees and through the strawberry patch. There, in the moonlight, stood a pyramid made entirely of bright orange slices, glowing like captured sunshine.

The pyramid's walls pulsed with warmth. Lily stepped closer, and the orange slices parted like curtains. Inside, instead of dark stone, she found a pool of swirling orange light that smelled like citrus and dreams.

A small fish with rainbow scales popped up. "Welcome! Are you here for swimming?"

"In orange light?" Lily asked.

"In magic!" The fish did a flip. "This is where imagination comes to swim. Every orange slice holds a different dream."

Lily dipped her toe in the glowing pool. Warm tingles rushed up her leg. She climbed in—and gasped. She wasn't wet. She was FLOATING, weightless as a cloud, surrounded by tiny orange bubbles that showed glimpses of other children's dreams: flying on butterflies, dancing with stars, talking to animals.

"Pick a bubble," said the rainbow fish. "Any dream you touch becomes real for one hour."

Lily chose a bubble showing her grandmother as a little girl, building sandcastles with real pearls. The bubble expanded, and suddenly Lily was sitting beside young Grandma on a beach of silver sand.

"Will you build with me?" young Grandma asked.

They built the most magnificent castle, decorated with orange seashells. When the hour ended, Lily returned to the orange pyramid, her heart full.

"Come back anytime," said the rainbow fish. "This pyramid exists wherever children dream."

Lily ran home, the iphone still glowing in her pocket. She curled up beside Grandma, whose silver hair now reminded Lily of moonlight on the silver sand.

"What did you find?" Grandma asked.

Lily squeezed her hand. "A secret about magic. It's been hiding in your orange tree all along."

That night, Lily dreamed of orange pyramids and rainbow fish, knowing the greatest adventures are found in the smallest discoveries—and in sharing them with someone you love.
