The Orange Pyramid Secret
Maya loved swimming. Every Saturday, she went to the community pool with her best friend Leo. They would splash and dive until their fingers wrinkled like raisins.
One sunny afternoon, Maya dove deep to the bottom of the pool. Something caught her eye—a glimmering orange shape nestled between the tiles. She swam closer and discovered a tiny pyramid made of brilliant orange crystal.
When she surfaced, Leo was waiting. "What did you find?"
"Look!" Maya held up the orange pyramid. It seemed to glow with its own light.
Suddenly, the pyramid grew warm in her hand. Ripples of orange light spread across the pool's surface. The water began to swirl, forming a beautiful orange vortex.
"Whoa!" Leo's eyes went wide.
A small voice echoed from the pyramid. "I am Cleo, guardian of the Hidden Kingdom. Only those with brave hearts may enter."
Maya and Leo exchanged excited glances. "We're brave!" Maya said.
The pool water transformed into a magical orange portal. Together, they jumped through—and found themselves in an underwater kingdom filled with glowing orange jellyfish and friendly fish with sparkly scales.
But something was wrong. The kingdom's coral gardens were wilting. Cleo appeared as a tiny orange dolphin. "Our friendship fountain has dried up," she said sadly. "Without friendship magic, the kingdom fades."
Maya thought about how she and Leo always helped each other. "Maybe we need to work together to refill it!"
They discovered the fountain needed two people to pull its golden handles simultaneously. Maya grabbed one side, Leo took the other. "One, two, three, PULL!"
With a splash, sparkling orange water burst forth. The coral bloomed, the fish danced, and the whole kingdom glowed with joy.
Cleo cheered. "You saved us with teamwork!"
When Maya and Leo returned to their pool, the orange pyramid had become a small orange stone pendant on a chain—a reminder that friendship is the greatest magic of all.
Every Saturday, they wore their pendants while swimming, knowing they shared a wonderful secret.
