The Orange Pyramid's Secret
Leo loved exploring his grandmother's attic. Rain drummed against the roof as he climbed the creaky stairs, flashlight in hand. Dust motes danced in his beam like tiny stars.
Inside an old wooden chest, something glowed beneath a faded quilt. Leo lifted the cloth and gasped. A perfect **pyramid** made of shimmering **orange** crystal sat there, pulsing with warm light like a heartbeat.
"What are you?" Leo whispered.
His **iPhone**, which he'd brought to play games, suddenly buzzed. The screen swirled with colors, showing a map that pointed straight at the pyramid!
Curious, Leo touched the crystal. WHOOSH! The attic spun away like water down a drain.
When the world stopped spinning, Leo stood in a magical land where the trees were made of candy canes and the streams flowed with grape juice. But something sad rustled in the bushes nearby.
A small green creature peeked out. It had stitches holding its buttons and patchwork clothes. A **zombie** toy! But instead of being scary, it looked lonely.
"Hello," said Leo bravely. "I'm Leo."
"I'm Zee," the toy zombie squeaked. "Everyone runs away because I look different. But I just want a friend."
Leo's heart went out to him. "I don't care how you look. Want to explore together?"
Zee's button eyes sparkled. "Really?"
They adventured through the magical land, sliding down rainbow slides and having tea parties with friendly stuffed animals. The orange pyramid, Leo realized, was a magic friendship finder!
"The pyramid brought me here because I needed to learn something," Leo told Zee. "Real friends see your heart, not your appearance."
When it was time to go, the pyramid glowed brighter. Leo hugged Zee. "Will I ever see you again?"
The orange pyramid pulsed once more, and suddenly Zee was there in the real attic, now a regular toy that had come to life!
"I'm real now," Zee cheered. "And we'll be best friends forever."
Leo placed the orange pyramid on his nightstand. Its glow reminded him every night: the best magic of all is kindness, and true friendship sees with the heart.
