The Orange Pyramid's Secret

Leo loved visiting his grandmother's farm. Every summer, he'd help her tend the garden and pick oranges from the ancient tree behind the barn.

"One day you'll find the special one," Grandma would say, her eyes twinkling. "The orange that glows when no one's watching."

This summer, Leo searched every branch until - there! A single orange shimmering like a tiny sunset, even in the shade. His heart pounded as he reached for it. The moment his fingers touched the bumpy skin, the orange grew warm, pulsing like a heartbeat.

A crack appeared along the orange's surface - not from damage, but opening like a door. Golden light spilled out, wrapping around Leo. His feet left the ground. The garden spun away.

When the light faded, Leo gasped. He stood on a floating crystal island. Above him stretched an endless blue ocean filled with silver fish. And towering from the island was a pyramid - glowing orange, like sunset trapped in stone.

"Hello, small one."

Behind him stood a magnificent creature - a bull made of clouds, with eyes like storms and horns curved like moonbeams.

"I'm Nimbus," the cloud-bull said softly. "Guardian of the Orange Pyramid. You found it - that means you have a kind heart."

Nimbus lowered his giant head. "But something is wrong. The pyramid's light is fading. Will you help me discover why?"

Together they climbed the orange steps. At the top, Leo found a small storm cloud trapped inside, crying tiny tears that turned to pearls.

"She's scared," Leo realized. Without thinking, he reached through the magical barrier. "It's okay. I'm scared too sometimes."

The cloud drifted into Leo's hands. He held her gently, the way his grandmother held baby birds. "You're not a monster. You're just lonely. Everyone needs a friend - even storms."

The cloud transformed into a tiny girl with silver hair. "I thought no one would want to be my friend."

Leo smiled. "I will."

The pyramid blazed brighter than ever. The water above shimmered with new colors - purples, golds, and greens no one had ever seen.

"Thank you, Leo," Nimbus said. "You remembered what matters most."

Leo closed his eyes, feeling warm. When he opened them, he was back in his grandmother's garden, the ordinary orange in his hand.

Grandma waited on the porch. "Did you find what you were looking for?"

Leo smiled. "I found a friend. And I learned that magic is real - it's just kindness, waiting to be shared."

That night, Leo dreamed of cloud-bulls and floating islands. And somewhere, a silver-haired girl smiled, knowing she would never be lonely again.
