The Orange Pyramid Path
Lily loved her morning walks through the meadow, but she always wished for a friend to share them with. One sunny Tuesday, she found something peculiar near the old oak tree—a small orange with tiny golden sparkles on its skin.
"That's strange," she whispered, picking it up. The orange felt warm, like it was holding a secret.
Suddenly, a squirrel darted past, and Lily instinctively started running after it. Something magical happened—every time her foot touched the ground while holding the orange, a tiny glowing pyramid appeared behind her, shining in brilliant sunset colors.
She stopped running and looked back. A trail of miniature orange pyramids stretched across the meadow, each one pulsing with soft light like little lanterns.
"Follow them!" a voice said. Lily turned to see a girl with silver hair standing by the oak tree. "I'm Maya. I've been waiting for someone to find the Magic Orange."
"Magic Orange?" Lily asked, her eyes wide.
Maya nodded. "It only reveals its power when you run with joy. The pyramids show the path to hidden places." She pointed to where the orange pyramids continued beyond the meadow. "Want to see where they lead?"
Lily's heart raced with excitement. Together, the girls followed the glowing path through a forest of whispering trees, over a babbling brook that giggled when they jumped across, and finally to a hidden clearing where hundreds of orange pyramids had created a beautiful palace.
"This is the Friendship Palace," Maya said, taking Lily's hand. "It appears when lonely hearts find each other."
Inside, they found children from all over the world, each with their own story of discovering something magical. Lily realized that running toward adventure had led her to something even better—a circle of friends who understood the magic of friendship.
The orange pyramids faded as the sun set, but Lily knew their magic would return whenever she needed them. Sometimes, she learned, the most extraordinary adventures start with something as simple as an orange and the courage to start running toward the unknown.
