The Orange Pyramid of Dreams
Tim was a lonely boy who loved his pet goldfish, Fin. Every day after school, he'd sit by the fishbowl and tell Fin about his day. One stormy night, as lightning flashed outside his window, something magical happened.
Fin swam to the surface and spoke! "Tim, I need your help. My pond back home is disappearing, and only the magic inside the Great Pyramid can save it."
Tim's eyes widened. "A pyramid? Like in Egypt?"
Fin nodded. "But not an ordinary one. When you place your palm on my bowl and think of adventure, we'll travel there together."
Tim held his palm against the glass. ZAP! Lightning struck outside, and suddenly they weren't in his room anymore. They stood before a magnificent pyramid glowing with golden light.
Inside, they found something amazing: palm trees growing throughout the temple, each bearing bright, shining oranges. "These are Dream Oranges," Fin explained. "One bite can grant any wish. But we must hurry - only one grows every hundred years!"
They found the last orange hanging from a small palm tree. But as Tim reached for it, Fin's voice grew weak. "Tim, my pond... I can barely remember it anymore."
Tim looked at the orange, then at his friend. He could wish for anything - friends, adventures, treasure. But Fin had become his first real friend.
"For Fin," Tim whispered, and placed the whole orange in Fin's mouth.
CRACK! More lightning flashed, and Tim was back in his room, Fin swimming happily in his bowl. The pond was saved. Tim had discovered something better than any wish: a friend who would journey with him anywhere, even to pyramids filled with magical palm trees and dream oranges.
