The Orange Pyramid Mystery

Lily loved building things. Every Saturday, she'd pile her colorful blocks into the tallest towers she could make. But one rainy afternoon, while searching for her missing red block under her bed, she found something strange. It was an old, scratched-up iPhone covered in dust.

"Mom never lets me have phones," she whispered, curiosity twinkling in her eyes. She pressed the button, and to her surprise, it turned on! The screen glowed with a bright orange light.

Suddenly, the room began to spin. Lily squeezed her eyes shut, and when she opened them, she wasn't in her bedroom anymore. She stood in a magical desert where the sand sparkled like tiny stars. Right in front of her loomed a magnificent orange pyramid, glowing with the same warm light from the phone.

"Hello!" a funny voice called out.

Lily jumped and turned around. Standing there was a zombie—but not a scary one. This zombie had messy green hair, bright purple sneakers, and the friendliest smile she'd ever seen.

"I'm Zed!" the zombie said, doing a silly little dance. "Welcome to the Pyramid of Imagination!"

"I'm Lily," she said shyly. "What is this place?"

"It's where all the world's creative ideas live!" Zed explained. "The orange light you saw means you have a special imagination inside you. We need your help!"

He led Lily inside the pyramid. The walls were covered with millions of dancing pictures—kids painting, singing, building, and dreaming.

"The pyramid is losing its glow," Zed said sadly. "Children are spending too much time on screens and not enough time imagining. We need someone to remind them how magical creating can be."

Lily's heart swelled. She thought about how she felt when she built her block towers—free, happy, and proud.

"I know what to do!" Lily exclaimed. She pulled out the old iPhone, but instead of playing games, she opened the drawing app. With Zed cheering her on, she painted the most colorful picture she could—a rainbow castle with dancing zombies and orange pyramids.

The picture floated into the air and merged with the pyramid's walls, making them glow brighter than ever.

"You did it!" Zed hugged her. "Your imagination saved the magic!"

When Lily opened her eyes, she was back in her room, the old iPhone dark in her hand. But something had changed. Her blocks weren't just blocks anymore—they were castles waiting to be built, adventures waiting to happen.

From that day on, Lily used screens to create, not just consume. She drew, she coded, she made music. And sometimes, when she looked really closely at her orange-colored block towers, she could almost see Zed doing his silly dance, reminding her that the best magic comes from her own imagination.
