The Orange Pyramid Magic
Lily loved rainy days, especially when thunder rumbled like a giant's tummy. But today, the rain made her worried. Her best friend Sam was sick in bed, and nothing seemed to help him feel better.
Lily sat by her window, peeling an orange. The fruit was bright and cheerful, just like Sam's smile. She arranged the orange slices on her plate in a tiny pyramid shape — something she always did for fun.
Suddenly, CRACK! A bolt of lightning flashed across the sky, and for one magical moment, the orange pyramid glowed with golden light. When Lily blinked, the orange slices had transformed into sparkling little pills.
"What in the world..." she whispered.
A tiny fairy popped out from behind the fruit bowl. "Those are Lightning Vitamins!" she squeaked. "The lightning strikes rare orange pyramids and turns them into magic vitamins. Each one can grant one wish!"
Lily gasped. "Sam needs to feel better! Can I use them?"
The fairy nodded. "But remember — the magic works best when you use them for someone else."
Lily grabbed the magical vitamins and rushed to Sam's house. She placed one vitamin in his soup, and when he ate it, his eyes lit up like stars.
"I feel... magical!" Sam laughed, jumping out of bed.
They spent the afternoon playing, and Lily saved the remaining vitamins for other friends who needed help. She learned that the best magic wasn't in the lightning or the vitamins at all — it was in being a true friend.
And sometimes, on rainy days, Lily still arranges her orange slices in a pyramid, just in case the lightning decides to visit again.
