The Orange Portal Friend
Lily was playing in her grandmother's attic when she discovered something strange. Half-buried under a pile of old quilts lay an iPhone, but not like any phone she'd ever seen. This one glowed with a soft orange light, and its screen showed swirling patterns like tiny galaxies.
"Curious," Lily whispered, her heart beating faster. She reached out and touched the warm screen.
WHOOSH!
The attic vanished. Lily found herself standing in a meadow where everything was orange—the grass, the flowers, even the clouds floating in a peach-colored sky. Orange butterflies danced around her head, and orange sparkles floated in the air like edible confetti.
"Hello there!" called a tiny voice. Lily looked down to see a small, round creature with orange fur and big purple eyes. "I'm Pip! I'm so glad you're here."
"Where am I?" Lily asked, running alongside Pip as the creature bounced through the orange meadow.
"This is the Orange Dimension!" Pip explained. "Our world is losing its magic because no one visits anymore. We need special friendship vitamins to keep the colors bright."
Pip showed Lily orange bushes that grew glowing orange fruits. "These aren't ordinary oranges—they're vitamins of joy and friendship!"
Lily's new friend explained that each time someone from the outside world visited and collected these magical vitamins, the Orange Dimension stayed vibrant and alive. But lately, no one had found the orange iPhone portal.
"Will you help me collect them?" Pip asked, his purple eyes shining with hope.
"Yes!" Lily cried. She and Pip spent the afternoon running through orange fields, laughing as they gathered the glowing fruits. Each vitamin they collected sparkled with warmth, filling Lily's heart with happiness.
As the orange sun began to set, Pip hugged Lily's leg. "Thank you for being my friend. You've saved our world!"
Lily touched the iPhone screen again, and WHOOSH—she was back in the attic. The orange iPhone's glow faded to normal, but she knew it would glow again when another friend was needed.
She smiled, touching the warm device. Sometimes, the best adventures are the ones you find when you least expect them—and the best magic is simply being a friend.
