The Orange Portal

Lily loved visiting her grandfather's farm. Every summer, she'd help him pick fruit from the orchard and feed the animals. But this summer was different.

One afternoon, while searching for the perfect orange in the grove, Lily noticed something strange. The oldest orange tree had a small hollow in its trunk, and inside sat not an orange, but a glowing device that looked like her iPhone. But it wasn't ordinary – it hummed with ancient magic.

"Who's there?" a deep voice rumbled.

Lily jumped and turned to find a magnificent bull standing behind her. He had a coat like sunset – golden orange with patches of cream. But the most amazing thing was that he could talk!

"I'm Barnaby," said the bull kindly. "And you've found the Orange Portal."

"The what?" Lily asked, her eyes wide.

"That device," Barnaby explained, "is a doorway to the Orchard of Dreams. Only those with pure hearts can find it. The orange tree chose you, Lily."

He nudged her gently. "Take it, but remember – magic is meant to be shared, not kept."

Lily's fingers tingled as she touched the device. Suddenly, the screen swirled with colors, and she saw beautiful gardens where every fruit sparkled like jewels. Children played there, laughing as they picked fruit that made their dreams come true.

"Can I visit?" Lily whispered.

"Whenever you wish," Barnaby smiled. "But you must bring friends. The Orchard is lonely without visitors."

That summer, Lily brought her cousins and friends. Each time they held the magical iPhone-like device, they visited the Orchard of Dreams, where they learned that true magic isn't in devices or portals, but in sharing adventures with the people you love.

And every year, Lily returned to the farm, where Barnaby the bull waited patiently by the orange tree, ready for another journey into wonder.
