The Orange Pool of Magic
Lily loved summer days, especially when she could splash in her backyard pool. But today, something extraordinary happened. Her golden dog, Sunny, began barking excitedly near the old oak tree.
"What is it, boy?" Lily followed Sunny to the tree's base. There, glowing softly, was a small pool she'd never seen before—but this wasn't water. It was shimmering orange liquid that smelled like sunshine and dreams.
An old fairy appeared, her wings sparkling like tiny stars. "This is the Vitamin Pool," she whispered. "It appears only once every hundred years, when kindness is needed most."
The fairy explained that the orange liquid contained magical vitamins—one drop could give someone the courage to try new things, the strength to help others, and the wisdom to know what really matters.
Sunny whimpered. The old dog next door had been feeling lonely and sad lately. His owner had gone to the hospital, and nobody visited him anymore.
Lily's heart swelled with understanding. "Vitamins aren't just for staying healthy," she said slowly. "They're for making hearts stronger too."
With the fairy's permission, Lily carefully collected a drop of the glowing orange pool vitamin in a small jar. Sunny carried it gently in his mouth to the neighbor's house.
The old dog's eyes brightened as soon as he tasted it. But something even more wonderful happened—Lily started visiting him every day, bringing stories and games. His tail wagged again, and his loneliness disappeared like morning mist.
"That was the real magic," the fairy told them later. "The pool showed you the way, but your friendship was the true cure."
The orange pool vanished, but Lily and Sunny had discovered something far more valuable: sometimes the best kind of vitamin isn't found in bottles or magical pools—it's found in kindness, friendship, and love.
Every summer after that, whenever Lily swam in her regular pool, she remembered: real magic comes from caring about others. And Sunny? He became best friends with the old dog next door, proving that a little kindness can create the biggest adventures of all.
