The Orange Padel Magic
Luna was no ordinary cat. While other cats chased mice or napped in sunbeams, Luna loved to watch the children play padel behind her house. The *thwack-thwack* of the racquets sounded like music to her pointed ears.
One afternoon, something rolled under the fence. It wasn't a ball—it was the brightest orange Luna had ever seen, glowing as if it contained a tiny sun.
Curious, Luna batted it with her paw. POOF!
Suddenly, she wasn't behind the fence anymore. She stood on a magical padel court where the net was made of woven rainbows and the racquets sparkled like stars.
"Hello?" Luna meowed.
"You're finally here!" boomed a deep voice.
Luna looked up—and up—and up. Before her stood the biggest bull she'd ever seen, with golden horns and a coat the color of storm clouds. But his eyes were kind, and he held a glowing orange padel racquet.
"I'm Bruno," the bull said gently. "I've been waiting 100 years for someone to play padel with me."
"You? Play padel?" Luna's whiskers twitched with surprise.
"Everyone runs away because I'm big," Bruno sighed. "But I just want a friend."
Luna's heart melted. She picked up a tiny racquet that appeared beside her. "I'll play with you, Bruno!"
They played the most magical game ever. When Bruno hit the orange ball, it burst into butterflies. When Luna returned it, sparks rained down like confetti. They laughed so hard that Luna purred and Bruno's snout wiggled.
"You're wonderful, Bruno," Luna said. "Size doesn't matter—only kindness does."
Bruno's eyes shone. "Will you come back tomorrow?"
"Every day," Luna promised.
When Luna batted the magical orange again, POOF! She was back behind the fence, the ordinary orange still glowing in her paws.
From that day on, Luna visited Bruno in the secret padel kingdom. And whenever the neighborhood children asked why she purred so loudly, Luna just smiled her cat smile.
Some magic, she knew, is meant to be kept between friends.
