The Orange Magic Message

Lily loved visiting her grandmother's house, especially the old apple orchard behind it. But one sunny afternoon, she spotted something peculiar — an orange tree growing right in the middle of all the apple trees!

"How strange!" Lily whispered, reaching for the brightest orange she'd ever seen. It glowed like a tiny sun, warm against her palm. Suddenly, a tiny fairy popped out! She was no bigger than a strawberry, with wings like stained glass.

"Hello!" the fairy squeaked. "I'm Pip! That orange you're holding is special — it's a Magic Vitamin from the Friendship Kingdom!"

"A magic vitamin?" Lily asked, eyes wide.

"Yes! Every hundred years, we send one to find someone with a kind heart. You must be very special!" Pip did a little spin in the air. "But oh no, I dropped my communication device! How will I tell the queen I found you?"

Lily's pockets felt heavy. She pulled out her iPhone, which her mom had let her borrow for emergencies. "Could we use this?"

Pip's eyes sparkled. "A human magic box! Perfect!"

Together, they tapped the screen, and suddenly, a beautiful face appeared — the Fairy Queen! She smiled when she saw Lily.

"You found the Chosen One!" Queen Sunny cheered. "Lily, that Magic Vitamin will give you the power to see kindness everywhere you go. Use it well!"

Lily took a bite of the orange. It tasted like sunshine and happiness. Suddenly, she could see glowing golden threads connecting everyone — her family, her friends, even strangers she'd never met.

"Friendship is everywhere!" Lily realized, hugging Pip goodbye.

That day, Lily learned that the real magic wasn't in the orange or the iPhone or even the fairy dust. The real magic was kindness — and it had been inside her heart all along.

From then on, Lily carried that magic with her always, spreading kindness wherever she went. And sometimes, if she looked closely, she could still see tiny golden threads connecting all the hearts in the world.
