The Orange Lightning Potion

Lily loved spending summer days at her grandmother's house, especially swimming in the old pool beside the garden. But today something strange happened. A flash of orange lightning split the blue sky, right above the pool!

Curious, Lily peeked over the pool's edge. In the water floated a small, green creature that looked rather like a zombie frog — its eyes were crossed, and it hopped sideways instead of forward. Poor thing!

"Are you okay?" Lily asked gently.

The frog nodded sadly. "I was a normal tree frog until that orange lightning hit me," it croaked. "Now I'm all mixed up. I need something special to become myself again."

Lily's grandmother had taught her about nature's magic. She rushed to the kitchen and grabbed the brightest orange from the fruit bowl. Outside in the garden, she plucked a sparkly leaf from the vitamin plant — the one her grandma said gave creatures strength.

"I'll help you!" Lily promised. She squeezed the orange juice into a puddle, added the vitamin leaf, and stirred with a twinkle twig she'd found. The mixture glowed golden!

The zombie frog hopped into the magical puddle. Orange sparkles swirled around it like tiny lightning bugs. Whoosh! In a blink, the frog turned green again, eyes bright and straight.

"Thank you!" the frog cheered. "You're a true friend."

Lily learned that day that magic isn't just about special powers — it's about kindness and helping others. And every time she saw orange lightning in summer storms, she smiled, remembering her froggy friend and the best adventure ever.
