The Orange Goldfish's Lightning Dash

Finn was the smallest goldfish in Mrs. Penny's classroom aquarium. His scales were a dull orange-brown, not brilliant like the other fish. 'You're too little to matter,' the big fish whispered when Finn tried to swim with them.

One afternoon, as gray clouds gathered outside the classroom window, something strange tumbled through the air and splash-landed in Finn's water. It was a glowing orange vitamin tablet, unlike any regular vitamin from the medicine cabinet. It pulsed with warmth, and curious Finn nibbled it.

CRACK! Thunder shook the room, and lightning flashed against the glass. But Finn didn't hide like the other fish. Instead, he felt electricity tingling through his fins. His dull orange scales suddenly glowed brilliant like sunset fire!

'Come back!' Mrs. Penny's student Emma cried as she accidentally knocked the small classroom fishbowl off the table. Water spilled everywhere, and Finn flopped helplessly on the floor. The big fish were too scared to move.

But Finn's new lightning-vitamin powers hummed through his body. He summoned all his courage and WHOOSH—shot across the spilled water like a living lightning bolt! He zipped and zoomed, gathering the terrified fish and pushing them toward safety.

'Look!' Emma gasped. 'The little orange fish is saving everyone!'

When Mrs. Penny returned and found all her fish safe in a temporary bowl, she marveled at Finn's brilliant glow. The big fish, now humbled, gathered around their tiny hero. 'We were wrong,' they said. 'Being small doesn't mean being weak.'

Finn learned that true courage isn't about size—it's about heart. And sometimes, the smallest heroes make the biggest splashes.
