The Orange Garden Magic
Marmalade was no ordinary cat. His fur was the color of a sunset, and his green eyes always sparkled with curiosity. Every morning, he'd pad through the sleepy village, looking for adventure.
One Tuesday, Marmalade discovered something amazing behind Mrs. Higgins' house. In her forgotten garden grew a single orange tree, but these weren't regular oranges. They glowed softly, like tiny suns caught in branches.
The wise old cat from the library appeared beside him. "Those are Dream Oranges," she purred. "Inside each orange grows a special vitamin – the Vitamin of Courage. It helps creatures who are afraid to try something new."
Marmalade's whiskers twitched with excitement. He knew exactly who needed courage.
Little Timmy across the street wanted to join the swimming team, but he was terrified of water. The girl next door, Sophie, dreamed of singing in the talent show, but her voice shook whenever she practiced.
With his careful paws, Marmalade picked two glowing oranges. He delivered one to Timmy's windowsill and one to Sophie's doorstep. Then he waited and watched.
That afternoon, Timmy ate his orange. Suddenly, he felt warm and brave, like sunshine filling his chest. He ran to the pool and jumped right in! Sophie ate hers and felt her throat relax. When she sang, her voice rang out clear and beautiful.
But the most magical thing happened next. Every person who found courage that day started growing their own orange trees in their gardens. Soon, the whole village was filled with glowing orange trees, and no one ever had to be afraid again.
Marmalade sat on his favorite fence, purring happily. Sometimes the best adventures aren't the ones you go on yourself – they're the ones you help others discover.
