The Orange Drop's Journey

Lily was the smallest drop in the Great Ocean. Every day, she watched the big waves crash and splash while she barely made a ripple.

"I want to do something important," Lily told her friend Finn, a wise old turtle. "But I'm so tiny."

Finn smiled. "Even the smallest things can make the biggest difference."

One morning, something magical happened. The sun painted the sky in colors of pink and gold. Lily felt herself rising — up, up, up! She was evaporating, turning into water vapor, floating into the clouds like a silver balloon.

"This is amazing!" Lily cheered as she danced with other drops through the fluffy white clouds. But then she noticed something strange. Below them stretched a dry, dusty land where nothing grew.

"Look down there," whispered Cloud Mother. "A little boy named Max is sick. The ground needs rain, and he needs fresh fruit to get better."

Lily knew what she had to do. She and her drop friends held hands — well, drop-hands — and fell gently as warm summer rain. They watered the thirsty earth, bringing life to the sleeping soil.

In Max's garden, something wonderful appeared. An orange tree began to grow, fueled by the rain and sunshine. Big, bright oranges hung like tiny suns, filled with sweet juice and special powers called vitamins that could help Max feel strong again.

Max plucked the juiciest orange. When he peeled it, the smell made him smile for the first time in weeks. Each bite made him feel stronger, as if the orange was giving him a magical hug from inside.

Lily had traveled from ocean to cloud to rain to tree, all to help someone she'd never met. And Max? He learned that nature's gifts — rain and fruit, working together — were the best medicine of all.

That night, a new drop named Lily sat on a leaf, watching the sunset. She was still tiny, but she knew something important now: being small didn't mean being powerless. Every drop, every orange, every act of kindness mattered.

Finn the turtle swam by and winked. "I told you, little friend. The mightiest rivers begin with just one brave drop."
