The Orange Cat's Secret Pyramid

Lily loved her friend Marmalade, an orange cat with fur like sunshine and whiskers that twitched when she was curious. Every afternoon, they went running through the meadow behind Lily's house, racing butterflies and chasing clouds.

One day, Marmalade darted toward the old oak tree and disappeared into a hole beneath its roots. Lily followed, squeezing through the opening. She gasped!

Inside was a secret room filled with glowing crystals. In the center stood a tiny pyramid made entirely of orange peels, shimmering with golden light.

"Welcome," whispered a voice. An elderly woman appeared beside the pyramid. "I am Clementine, guardian of the Joy Pyramid. Long ago, children built this pyramid from oranges they shared with friends. Each peel holds a memory of kindness."

Marmalade purred and rubbed against Clementine's leg.

"The pyramid is fading," Clementine said sadly. "Children have forgotten how to share and play together. Without joy, it will crumble."

Lily's heart ached. She thought of all the times she'd played alone, never inviting other children. "Can we save it?"

"Only if you bring new memories of friendship," Clementine said. "Will you help?"

Lily nodded fiercely. She grabbed Marmalade and went running back to the meadow, where children were playing tag. For the first time, she called out, "Can I play too?"

That afternoon, Lily made five new friends. She brought them to meet Clementine, each carrying an orange. Together, they added fresh peels to the pyramid. It glowed brighter than ever.

"Thank you," Clementine beamed. "You've learned the secret: joy grows when shared."

Every day after school, Lily and her friends went running to the secret room with Marmalade leading the way. They built the pyramid taller and stronger, and it became their magical meeting place where friendship and wonder never ended.
