The Orange Cable That Sparked Magic

Leo was exploring his grandmother's dusty attic when he spotted something peculiar - a bright orange cable peeking out from an old wooden chest. It was unlike any cable he'd ever seen, glowing with a warm, sunset light.

Curious, Leo gave it a gentle tug. Suddenly - FLASH! - The room filled with brilliant lightning that danced around him like fireflies at twilight.

When Leo opened his eyes, he wasn't in the attic anymore. He stood in a magical garden where flowers hummed gentle melodies and trees whispered secrets. Before him rose an ancient sphinx with emerald eyes that sparkled like morning dew.

"Welcome, young traveler," the sphinx spoke in a voice like wind chimes. "I am Sparkle, Guardian of the Golden Pond."

Leo's eyes widened with wonder. "I... I just found an orange cable..."

"Ah, yes! The magical Cable of Courage!" Sparkle smiled. "It only appears to those with brave hearts."

The sphinx led Leo to a shimmering pond where the most beautiful goldfish darted through crystal-clear water. Their scales caught the light like tiny rainbows.

"These aren't ordinary goldfish," Sparkle explained. "Each one holds a special magic. The orange one grants courage. The silver one brings friendship. The golden one shines brightest for those who help others."

A small orange goldfish swam to the surface and looked Leo right in the eye. Leo felt warm inside, braver than he'd ever felt before.

"I wish I could stay forever," Leo whispered.

"Magic works both ways," Sparkle said wisely. "You take courage from our world, but you must share it in yours. That's how magic grows."

Leo hugged the sphinx good-bye. As he touched the orange cable again, he felt the lightning spark around him one more time, carrying him home.
