The Orange Cable's Magic
Lily found something strange in her attic. It was a bright orange cable, glowing like sunshine trapped inside a rope. When she tugged it, the cable stretched and stretched, leading her out the window and into the sky!
"Where are you going?" said a deep, rumbly voice. Lily looked down. A golden bull with sparkling horns stood below her. His name was Barnaby, and he was the friendliest bull in the kingdom.
"I'm following this orange cable," Lily called. "Want to come?"
Barnaby nodded, and suddenly he could fly! They soared upward together, following the glowing orange cable through clouds made of cotton candy and past stars that twinkled like happy eyes.
The cable led them to a lonely castle on a floating island. Inside, they found something surprising. A little green creature was shuffling around, looking very sad.
"Are you a zombie?" Lily asked kindly.
The creature nodded. "I'm Zed the zombie. But I'm not scary. I'm just lonely. No one wants to play with me because they think zombies are mean."
Barnaby the bull walked over and gently nudged Zed. "We don't think that. We think you look like a wonderful friend."
Zed's eyes lit up. "Really?"
Lily smiled. "Really! This orange cable brought us together for a reason. Friends come in all shapes and sizes—even zombie shapes!"
They spent the day playing magical games. Zed showed them how to dance like jellyfish, Barnaby taught them to roar like thunder (but not scary thunder), and Lily showed them how the orange cable could create beautiful rainbow bridges.
When it was time to go, Zed wasn't lonely anymore. The orange cable had done something wonderful. It had brought three unlikely friends together.
"Come visit anytime," Zed called as they floated back down.
Lily learned something magical that day. The most wonderful adventures often start with something as simple as following a glowing orange cable—and friendship is the greatest magic of all.
