The Orange Cable and the Starry Bull

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. It was full of mysterious boxes and dusty treasures. One rainy Saturday, while rummaging through an old wooden chest, she found something peculiar – a bright orange cable that seemed to shimmer and glow in the dim light.

"What are you?" Lily whispered, picking up the cable. It felt warm in her hands, almost like it was alive. The orange cord stretched longer and longer as she pulled, disappearing into a shadowy corner behind stacks of old books.

Curious, Lily followed the glowing orange cable through the attic, down the hallway, and straight into her grandmother's garden. There, tangled in an ancient oak tree, the cable connected to something impossible – a small, glowing bull made entirely of golden starlight!

The starry bull blinked its giant, kind eyes and gently nudged Lily's hand with its velvety nose.

"I've been waiting for someone brave enough to follow the orange cable," the bull spoke in a voice like twinkling bells. "I'm Orion, guardian of lost wishes. My magic has been fading because children stopped believing in impossible things."

Lily's eyes widened. "You're real!"

"As real as your imagination," Orion replied. "Will you help me collect fallen stars? They're scattered across the meadow, and if we don't gather them by midnight, they'll lose their magic forever."

Lily nodded eagerly. Together, she and Orion skipped across the moonlit meadow, gathering glowing star fragments that hummed with gentle music. The orange cable from the attic trailed behind them like a friendly ribbon, lighting their way.

When they returned the stars to the sky, Orion nuzzled Lily gratefully. "Thank you for believing in magic. The orange cable will always connect our worlds now. Whenever you need adventure, just follow where it leads."

The next morning, the orange cable was back in the attic, looking ordinary. But Lily knew better. Sometimes the most wonderful adventures begin with something small and orange, and the best friends come in the most unexpected forms – even starry bulls who teach us that magic lives wherever we dare to believe.
