The Orange Bull's Running Adventure
Lily loved running through her grandmother's orange grove at sunset. The trees whispered secrets as she dashed between them, her bare feet pattering on the soft earth.
One evening, something magical happened. As Lily reached for the biggest, brightest orange she'd ever seen, the fruit began to glow! It shimmered and sparkled until—POOF!—the orange transformed into a tiny, golden bull no bigger than her teddy bear.
"Hello!" said the bull, his voice like jingling bells. "I'm Barnaby, the Orange Bull! I grant one special wish to kind children who running with pure joy in their hearts."
Lily's eyes widened. "Really?"
"Really!" Barnaby's golden coat gleamed like sunshine. "What's your heart's desire?"
Lily thought hard. She could wish for toys, or candy, or endless adventures. But then she remembered her little brother Toby, who had been sad lately because he couldn't keep up when they played tag.
"I wish my brother could run as fast and free as me," Lily said softly.
Barnaby's golden eyes twinkled. "That's a kind wish." He tapped his tiny hooves, and orange sparkles filled the air. "Your wish shall come true, but with a twist—you'll both run together, forever bonded by friendship."
The next morning, Toby bounded outside, zooming around the garden with impossible energy. But more importantly, he grabbed Lily's hand.
"Race you!" Toby laughed, and they ran together, side by side, matching each other's stride perfectly.
Lily spotted a tiny golden sparkle in the grass—Barnaby's magic was real. And from that day on, she learned that the best wishes aren't just for ourselves, but for the ones we love.
Sometimes, if you look closely during an orange sunset, you might still see a little golden bull running beside children who play with joy in their hearts.
