The Orange Bull's New Friend
In a meadow filled with purple clover and golden dandelions, there lived a young bull named Barnaby. But Barnaby was not like other bulls. While his friends were brown and black, Barnaby was a bright, shiny orange—the color of sunshine and autumn leaves.
The other bulls sometimes teased him. "You're like a giant pumpkin!" they would laugh, and Barnaby would hang his head, his orange ears drooping low. Every night, he would gaze at the stars and wish he could be just like everyone else.
One evening, when the moon was hanging like a silver coin in the sky, Barnaby heard a soft rustling in the oak tree nearby. A pair of glowing green eyes peeked down at him.
"Why are you so sad, orange friend?" asked a silky voice.
Barnaby looked up to see a beautiful black cat with fur that shimmered like midnight. "I'm different," he sighed. "Nobody wants to play with a pumpkin-colored bull."
The cat leaped gracefully from branch to branch until she landed softly beside him. "I'm Luna," she purred. "And I think your orange fur is magical. It's like you're wearing a piece of the sun!"
Barnaby had never thought of it that way. Luna showed him how his orange coat glowed in the moonlight, making him look like a constellation come to life. She taught him to appreciate his uniqueness, and they became the best of friends.
One day, when the other bulls were arguing over who was the strongest, Barnaby simply walked away with Luna by his side. They found a lonely orange rolling in the grass, and instead of fighting over it, Barnaby shared it with Luna.
The other bulls watched in silence. They had never seen such kindness. Soon, they realized that Barnaby's orange coat wasn't strange—it was special. And his heart was even more beautiful than his fur.
From that day on, Barnaby the orange bull and Luna the cat taught everyone an important lesson: Being different makes you special, and kindness is the truest strength of all.
