The Orange Bull's Midnight Rescue

Lily was supposed to be asleep, but she saw something glowing outside her window. An orange light pulsed in the garden below. She tiptoed downstairs and peered through the glass.

There, tangled in her mother's tomato plants, was the most extraordinary creature she had ever seen. A tiny bull, no bigger than a puppy, with fur the color of a sunset orange and horns that shimmered like moonlight. He was caught in the thick vines, his gentle eyes wide with fear.

The orange bull - whose name she somehow knew was Clementine - was a guardian of lost dreams. Every night, he collected forgotten wishes from sleeping children and carried them to the Star Castle where they could come true again. But tonight, he had fallen.

Lily's heart pounded. She knew she had to help. She ran to the garage where her dad kept his tools. There, she found what she needed: a thick yellow cable he used for towing.

"I'm coming, Clementine!" she whispered, carrying the cable outside.

The orange bull watched her with trusting eyes as Lily carefully looped the cable around the tomato plant's main stem. With all her strength, she pulled. The plant's vines slowly loosened, freeing the magical creature.

Clementine shook his orange fur and trotted to Lily's side. He nudged her hand with his soft nose, and something magical happened. A warm, golden glow spread from his touch, and suddenly Lily could hear whispers of dreams - wishes about flying, about finding lost puppies, about becoming astronauts.

"Thank you, brave friend," Clementine seemed to say without speaking. "You saved a night's worth of dreams."

From that night on, Lily found orange petals on her pillow each morning - gifts from Clementine. And sometimes, when she wished very hard, the little orange bull would appear at her window, his horns glowing, ready to take her on midnight adventures to the Star Castle.

Lily learned that even small people can do big, brave things - especially when they help a friend.
