The Orange Bear's Magic Gift

In the heart of Sunny Island, there lived a bear named Barnaby. But Barnaby was no ordinary bear – his thick fur was a brilliant orange color, shimmering like sunset on the ocean.

Every morning, Barnaby would wake up and comb his messy orange hair with a special branch from his favorite palm tree. "Good morning, Palm!" he would say, and the tall palm tree would wave its fronds back at him as if saying hello.

One day, Barnaby discovered something wonderful hiding behind the palm tree – a papaya tree heavy with ripe, golden fruit. His tummy rumbled with excitement. But just as he reached for the biggest papaya, he heard a tiny squeak.

"Please don't take that one!" cried a small lizard named Luna. "That's the only papaya for my family!"

Barnaby looked at his orange paws, then at the hungry little lizard. His magical orange fur began to glow even brighter – that's what happened when his heart felt full of kindness.

"I have a better idea!" Barnaby said with a warm smile.

The gentle bear shook the papaya tree carefully until many fruits fell to the soft grass. He gave half to Luna's family and kept half for himself. But then he did something even more magical – he used his strong claws to plant papaya seeds all around the island.

"Now everyone will have papayas forever," Barnaby beamed.

The palm tree rustled its leaves proudly, and Luna's family danced around their new friend. From that day on, Barnaby's orange hair glowed the brightest of any bear on the island, because everyone knew that his heart was just as golden as the papayas he shared.
