The Night the Clouds Came Alive
Emma peeked through her bedroom curtains, watching the storm like a little spy. She loved secrets, and tonight the sky had a big one.
A flash of lightning crackled across the dark clouds. But this wasn't ordinary lightning—it was purple and sparkly, like fairy dust. Emma gasped as something magical happened.
The clouds began to move! A fluffy white bear formed, stretching its paws. Beside it appeared a gentle bull with a starry nose. They were cloud friends, awakened by the special lightning.
"Are you scared of the dark?" the bull asked the bear in a rumbly, thunder-whisper voice.
"No," said the bear bravely. "But I was lonely until you appeared."
Emma pressed her nose against the glass, delighted. She had discovered the sky's secret!
Then something silly shuffled into view—a puffy little zombie cloud, but not a scary one. It was just a confused cloud that had forgotten how to float properly!
"Can I play too?" the zombie cloud asked, wiggling its misty arms.
The bear smiled. "Everyone's welcome in our sky family. We're all different, and that's what makes us special."
The bull nodded. "Even if some of us are a little mixed up sometimes."
They danced together in the moonlight, the purple lightning making them shimmer. Emma clapped quietly from her window, feeling like she was part of their magical game.
The storm drifted away, but Emma knew the secret now. Whenever lightning flashed, she would look for her cloud friends. And she learned something important: sometimes the things that seem different or strange just need a friend to help them find their place.
That night, Emma dreamed of cloud adventures, knowing that true friendship shines brightest when you include everyone—even the little zombie cloud that forgot how to be a regular cloud.
