The Mouse Who Spied on Stars

spybullpadel

Little Pepe was the smallest mouse in the meadow, but he had the biggest dreams. Every night, while other mice slept, Pepe would climb to the top of the sunflower and **spy** on the world above. He watched fireflies dance, owls glide, and stars twinkle secrets to each other.

One magical night, Pepe saw something extraordinary. A great, gentle **bull** made of silver starlight walked across the moon! The bull's hooves left trails of glittering dust that turned into wishes as they fell.

"Hello, little friend," the bull rumbled softly. His voice sounded like distant thunder wrapped in warm blankets. "I am Toro, the keeper of moonbeams. Would you like to play?"

Pepe's heart fluttered like a trapped butterfly. "Play? With me?"

Toro lowered his giant horn. "Climb aboard!"

Pepe scrambled up and they soared into the velvety sky. All around them, friendly animals played **padel** with stars! A badger hit a glowing star to a rabbit, who bounced it back with her paws. Even the moon joined in, batting comets like giant tennis balls!

"Your turn!" Toro cheered.

Pepe shook his head. "I'm too small. The stars are too heavy."

Toro nuzzled him gently. "The biggest adventures don't need the biggest players. They need the biggest hearts."

A tiny star drifted toward Pepe. He closed his eyes, swung his tail, and—POP! The star shot forward, leaving a rainbow trail! All the animals cheered.

"Again!" cried Toro. "This time, hit it to the moon!"

Pepe played until dawn painted the sky pink. Toro carried him home, tucked him into his bed of leaves, and whispered, "Thank you for reminding us all that size doesn't matter. Courage does."

Now Pepe still spies on the night sky, but he doesn't just watch anymore. He plays. And every night, he leaves his sunflower, knowing that even the smallest dreamer can touch the stars.
