The Mouse Spy's Secret Mission

Mia was planting spinach in her garden when something sparkled in the dirt. She dug carefully with her trowel and found... a tiny iPhone! It was no bigger than a strawberry.

"Hello?" a squeaky voice came from the phone. "Is this secure?"

Mia gasped. "Who are you?"

"I'm Spy Squeak," said the voice. "Agent 007.5 of the Mouse Intelligence Agency. That's my emergency iPhone! I dropped it during my mission."

"A mouse spy?" Mia whispered. "That's amazing!"

"Amazing but trouble!" squeaked Spy Squeak. "The Great Orange has been stolen from the Queen's garden! It's a magical orange that glows like the moon and keeps our kingdom bright. Without it, we'll be in darkness forever!"

Mia looked at her spinach patch. "How can I help?"

"Do you have any enchanted spinach?" asked Spy Squeak. "Spinach grown with kindness gives special powers. If you eat it, you can see invisible things!"

Mia plucked a bright green spinach leaf. She took a bite and suddenly—her eyes twinkled! She could see tiny footprints leading into the bushes.

"I see them!" she cried. She followed the invisible prints with Spy Squeak guiding her through the phone. They found a grumpy squirrel hiding the glowing orange in a hollow tree.

"Please give it back," Mia said kindly. "The mice need their light."

The squirrel looked ashamed. "I just wanted something pretty to look at. I didn't know it was important."

Mia smiled. "Beautiful things are meant to be shared, not taken. Come with us—we can all enjoy the Great Orange together!"

That night, under the magical orange glow, Mia danced with mice and squirrels alike. She had learned that true friends come in all sizes, and kindness is the greatest spy mission of all.

Sometimes, she still checks her garden. And sometimes, if she's very lucky, she finds tiny thank-you gifts: acorns, berries, and once—just once—a perfect orange flower left by a very grateful mouse spy.
