The Moonlight Pyramid

Lily was running through her backyard, her bare feet tickling the grass. The sun was setting, painting the sky in shades of purple and gold. She loved this time of day, when everything felt magical and possible.

That's when she saw it – a tiny pyramid made of something that sparkled like starlight, hidden among the petunias. Lily knelt down, her heart beating faster. The pyramid was no bigger than her thumb, with symbols that glowed softly.

"What are you?" she whispered.

As soon as her fingers touched it, the backyard disappeared. Lily found herself standing in a beautiful garden where flowers sang and trees whispered ancient stories. A boy with silver eyes stood there, smiling.

"I've been waiting for you," he said. "I'm Orion. Welcome to the Pyramid of Dreams."

Lily's eyes widened. "Is this real?"

"As real as you want it to be," Orion winked. "The pyramid appears to children who believe in magic. We have an adventure ahead – the Moonstone Festival starts soon, and we need to collect three special wishes to light the festival lanterns."

"But I don't even know you," Lily said nervously.

Orion extended his hand. "Every friend was once a stranger. The pyramid brought us together for a reason. Trust your heart."

Lily took his hand. Together, they ran through fields of crystal flowers, climbed candy-striped mountains, and danced with fireflies that painted pictures in the air. For each wish they found – first for courage, then for kindness, finally for friendship – the pyramid glowed brighter.

When they returned to Lily's backyard, the tiny pyramid was gone. But something else remained – a silver locket around her neck, shaped like a pyramid.

"Will I ever see you again?" she called into the gathering darkness.

Orion's voice floated on the evening breeze. "Whenever you need a friend, just hold the pyramid and remember – magic lives inside brave hearts who believe."

Lily touched the locket and smiled. Some friendships are written in the stars, and the best adventures are the ones that never truly end.
