The Midnight Storm Friends
Young Luna the goldfish swam in circles in her small glass bowl, dreaming of the world beyond. Every night, she watched the stars through the window and wished for adventure.
One stormy evening, lightning flashed across the sky—CRACK! BOOM! The whole house shook. Luna's bowl tipped over, splashing water everywhere.
"Oh no!" cried a deep voice. Bruno the bear, who had been walking by the open window, peeked inside. "Little fish, are you okay?"
Luna flopped on the floor, gasping. Bruno gently scooped her up. "I know a safe place," the big bear rumbled softly.
Outside, a bull named Barnaby charged through the rain. "Everyone to the cave! This storm is too wild!" Barnaby was usually grumpy, but tonight his eyes showed worry.
A clever fox named Fiona appeared from the bushes. "Follow me! I know the way!" Her red tail bushed out as she led them through the dark forest.
But something magical happened when the next lightning bolt struck—ZZZT! The electricity didn't hurt them. Instead, it made their fur and scales glow with shimmering light.
Luna's goldfish scales turned brilliant rainbow colors. Bruno's bear fur sparkled like diamonds. Barnaby's bull horns glowed silver, and Fiona's fox tail shone like fire.
"The storm magic!" Fiona whispered. "We're storm guardians now!"
Together, the four friends used their new powers to help other forest creatures find safety. Luna's glowing light guided the way through the dark. Bruno's strength carried small animals to higher ground. Barnaby's loud voice warned everyone of danger. Fiona's cleverness found the safest paths.
By morning, the storm passed. Their glow faded, but something special remained—they were friends now.
"Thank you," Luna said from her new, bigger bowl that Bruno had found. "You saved me."
"You saved us too," Bruno smiled. "We worked better together."
Barnaby nodded, and Fiona flicked her tail happily.
Sometimes, Luna thought, the best adventures come from the worst storms—especially when you find friends along the way.
