The Midnight Padel Match

friendzombiepadelcable

Leo discovered the toy zombie hidden in a dusty box in his attic. It had green fur, one googly eye, and a crooked smile stitched with red thread. That night, under the glow of the moon, the toy twitched its nose and spoke!

"Hello, new friend!" said the zombie, whose name was Zed. "I've been sleeping for fifty years!"

Leo wasn't scared at all. Zed was the friendliest zombie anyone could imagine—more like a magical elf than anything spooky. He loved to tell jokes and do cartwheels.

"What's padel?" Zed asked, pointing to a racket in Leo's room. "It looks like magic!"

Leo taught Zed how to play padel in the backyard. But Zed had no bones, so he wobbled like jelly when he tried to hit the ball. They laughed so hard that Leo's stomach hurt.

Then Zed noticed something—a mysterious cable that stretched from Leo's house all the way across the night sky, glowing with twinkling stars. It pulsed with rainbow light.

"That's the Dream Cable," Zed whispered with wide eyes. "It connects all the children in the world who believe in magic. When we laugh and play, our joy travels along the cable to wake up sleeping toys everywhere!"

That night, Leo and Zed played padel under the stars, sending sparkles of happiness racing through the cosmic cable. They watched amazed as toys in houses across the neighborhood began to dance and glow.

"Every child deserves a magical friend," Zed said, hugging Leo.

When morning came, Zed became a toy again. But now Leo knew the truth—with enough imagination and friendship, anything can come alive. And somewhere, traveling along that glowing cable in the sky, their friendship was making magic for children everywhere.
