The Midnight Padel Game
Felix the fox couldn't sleep. The moon hung like a glowing cheese wheel in the sky, and something magical was calling to him from the forest. His fluffy orange tail twitched with curiosity as he slipped out of his den.
Deep in the woods, Felix discovered something amazing—a glowing padel court made of moonlight! The racquet shimmered with stardust, and the ball bounced with a gentle *ping* that sounded like wind chimes. Felix had never played padel before, but his paws seemed to know exactly what to do.
Suddenly, a shadowy figure shuffled from between the trees. Felix's ears flattened against his head. It looked like a zombie! Greenish skin, tattered clothes, and groans that made the leaves tremble.
"Please don't eat me!" Felix squeaked, hiding behind his racquet.
The zombie stopped. "Eat you? No no no!" He giggled, and to Felix's surprise, the zombie's smile was kind. "I'm Zedd. I just want to play padel too. Everyone runs away because I look spooky, but I'm really quite friendly."
Felix stepped closer. Zedd's green skin actually sparkled like emeralds in the moonlight. "You want to play with me?"
"More than anything!" Zedd's eyes lit up. "I've been watching this court for years, wishing for a friend."
They played padel all night under the stars. Felix was quick and graceful, while Zedd had a powerful swing that sent the ball flying toward the moon. They laughed and cheered, the sound echoing through the forest.
As dawn approached, Zedd looked sad. "You probably won't come back. Everyone's scared of zombies."
Felix hugged his new friend. "I learned something important tonight. Real friends don't care about appearances—they care about heart. See you tomorrow, Zedd?"
Zedd's smile was brighter than the moon. "Every night, Felix. Every night."
From then on, the fox and the not-so-scary zombie played padel together, and the forest animals soon learned that sometimes the scariest-looking creatures make the best friends of all.
