The Midnight Cable to Dream Mountain

In a forest where the trees whispered secrets to anyone who listened, a young fox named Pip discovered something extraordinary. It was an old cable car station, hidden behind a waterfall of sparkling mist.

The cable, thick and silver as moonlight, stretched all the way to Dream Mountain—a peak that touched the stars. Pip had been running from his worries all day, worried he wasn't brave enough to become a Forest Guardian like his father.

"Maybe the mountain holds answers," Pip whispered. His red tail twitched with excitement as he stepped into the little cable car.

*Click-clack, click-clack!* The car began to move, carrying him upward through clouds that tasted like cotton candy. Below, the forest became a green patchwork quilt.
