The Midnight Bear's Secret Mission

Bernie was a small brown bear with a shiny red bow, but he had a big secret. Every night, when Lily fell asleep, Bernie became a secret spy for sweet dreams.

One magical midnight, Bernie was running through the Dream Forest when he saw something strange. A giant bull with starry golden horns stood by the Moonlight Pond. But the bull looked so sad—his beautiful star-spots were glowing dim and dull.

"Hello there, little bear," the bull said in a voice like rumbles of distant thunder. "I am Taurus, the Star Bull. I've lost my sparkle, and I can't light up the night sky anymore."

Bernie, being the best dream spy around, knew exactly what to do. He remembered seeing the missing sparkles twinkling like tiny fairies near the Cloud Castle. They had been blown away by the grumpy North Wind.

"Don't worry!" Bernie said bravely. "I'll help you find your star-spots!"

Together, the little bear and the big bull went on an amazing adventure. They climbed the Rainbow Bridge, slid down the Moonbeam Slide, and followed the Silver Path to the Cloud Castle. Bernie used his spy skills to spot the sparkly star-spots hiding in misty corners.

When Taurus's star-spots finally twinkled bright again, the whole night sky shamed with magic. "Thank you, little friend," Taurus said, bowing his giant head. "You taught me that even the smallest friends can make the biggest difference."

Bernie ran back to Lily's room just before sunrise, curling up beside her. He knew the best part of being a spy wasn't the adventures—it was helping friends, big or small, find their shine again.
