The Magical Zombie Baseball
Leo had the craziest hair in town. It sprouted in every direction like a brown tumbleweed, and no matter how much he brushed it, it always bounced right back. The other kids laughed, but Leo didn't care. His hair made him feel like a wild adventure waiting to happen.
One Saturday, Leo found something amazing in his grandfather's old trunk: a glowing baseball with mysterious swirls painted on it. When he threw it across the backyard pool, something magical happened. The baseball hit the water with a *splash* and turned the whole pool into sparkling purple light!
Suddenly, a girl climbed out of the water. She had bright green skin, sparkles in her hair, and the friendliest smile Leo had ever seen.
"I'm Zoe!" she said, shaking purple water from her curly hair. "I'm a magical zombie girl, and I've been sleeping inside that baseball for one hundred years!"
Leo wasn't scared. He was amazed. "You're a zombie? But you're so nice!"
"Not all zombies are scary," Zoe giggled. "I'm a friendship zombie! I come out when someone needs a buddy."
They spent the whole afternoon playing baseball. Every time Zoe hit the ball, it turned into butterflies before landing. Leo's wild hair made Zoe laugh so hard that sparkles flew from her mouth like confetti.
"Your hair is amazing," Zoe said. "It shows you're not afraid to be yourself. That's the best kind of magic."
Before sunset, Zoe had to go back into her baseball home. "I'll come back whenever you need a friend," she promised. "Just throw the ball into any pool, and I'll appear!"
That night, Leo looked in the mirror and smiled at his crazy hair. Being different wasn't weird at all — it was your own special kind of magic, just like being a friendly zombie. He fell asleep dreaming of baseball games under purple skies, knowing the best adventures are the ones you share with friends who accept you exactly as you are.
