The Magical Pyramid of Courage

Leo found the shiny golden pyramid hidden beneath the old oak tree in his backyard. It sparkled like morning dew, and when he touched it, it hummed a sleepy tune.

"What are you?" Leo whispered.

The pyramid popped open like a surprise present, revealing a single glowing vitamin inside. But this wasn't any ordinary vitamin from a bottle. It was the Vitamin of Courage, shaped like a tiny star.

Suddenly, the ground rumbled. A bull with rainbow-colored spots trotted out from behind the tree. But instead of charging, the bull smiled.

"I'm Buster," the bull said gently. "And I need your help."

"You can talk?" Leo's eyes widened.

"Everyone can talk if you listen with your heart," Buster said. "My friend Zara lives in the pyramid, but she's been sleeping for a hundred years. She's not a zombie, but the village children call her that because she moves slowly and looks pale. They don't understand she's just lonely."

Leo looked at the Vitamin of Courage in his hand. "What should I do?"

"Give it to her," Buster said. "Courage wakes sleeping hearts."

Leo peeked into the pyramid. Inside lay a girl with silver hair, smiling in her sleep. She looked peaceful, not scary at all. Leo gently placed the Vitamin of Courage on her palm.

Zara's eyes opened, sparkling like stars. "Thank you," she said, sitting up. "I was waiting for someone brave enough to wake me."

"Will you play baseball with us?" Leo asked. "I have a game tomorrow."

Zara laughed, and it sounded like wind chimes. "I'd love to. I haven't played in a hundred years!"

The next day, Zara hit the baseball so far it almost touched the clouds. The other children forgot about calling her a zombie. They saw she was just Zara—magical, wonderful, and their new friend.

Leo learned that sometimes the things we fear are just friends we haven't met yet. And all it takes is a little courage to discover the magic hiding in unexpected places.

That night, under the moonlight, Leo, Buster, and Zara played baseball until the stars came out to cheer.
