The Magical Pool Party

Lily loved her backyard **pool**, but she loved it even more when the moon made it shimmer like liquid diamonds. One hot summer night, she peeked through her curtains and saw something amazing—green sparkles dancing on the water's surface!

She slipped outside in her pajamas and dipped her toe into the glowing water. Suddenly, she wasn't in her pool anymore! She was in a magical underwater kingdom with bubble castles and rainbow fish.

"Hello there!" said a friendly voice. Lily turned to see a **zombie**, but not a scary one. This zombie had a cheerful smile, bright purple skin, and wore a glittery party hat. "I'm Zed!"

"I'm Lily!" she giggled. "You're the nicest zombie I've ever met!"

Zed frowned and patted his head. "I'm supposed to have wild green **hair** that sparkles in the moonlight, but it all floated away during last night's underwater **baseball** game. We were playing with starfish and having so much fun that I didn't notice my hair floating off!"

"That's terrible!" Lily cried. "How can we get it back?"

Zed's eyes lit up. "The mer-garden grows magical **spinach** that can make hair grow back super fast! But it only blooms during the full moon, and that's tonight!"

Hand in hand (well, hand in flipper), they swam through coral forests and past giggling seahorses until they found a glowing patch of emerald-green spinach. Zed ate just one leaf, and POOF! His green hair grew back instantly—long, curly, and glittery!

"Thank you, Lily!" Zed cheered. "Now we can play baseball again! Want to join?"

Lily nodded excitedly. They played the most magical game ever, using pearl balls and jellyfish mitts, while fish cheered from the coral bleachers.

When morning came, Lily found herself back in her own backyard pool, the sparkles fading. But she knew something wonderful—sometimes the most magical adventures happen when you least expect them, and friends come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

Even zombie colors.
