The Magical Pool of Wishes
Lily pushed her curly **hair** out of her eyes and stared at the old swimming **pool** in her grandmother's backyard. The water sparkled with an unusual blue glow, even though it hadn't been used in years.
"What are you doing here?" a voice rumbled behind her.
Lily turned to see a giant brown **bear** wearing a baseball cap and holding a tennis racquet. He looked friendly, with twinkling eyes and a smile that showed his teeth.
"I'm Bruno!" the bear said. "And this is my **padel** court. Well, it used to be a pool, but magic changed it. Want to play?"
Lily's eyes widened. "A magical pool? But it's empty!"
"Not for long," Bruno winked. He tapped the pool with his racquet. *BING!*
Suddenly, the empty pool filled with rainbow-colored water that shimmered like stars. Musical notes floated up from the surface.
"Every time we hit the ball into the water," Bruno explained, "a wish comes true for someone who needs it."
Lily's heart raced. She spotted an old **baseball** near the fence. "Can we use that?"
Bruno nodded. Together, they played the most wonderful game. When the baseball splashed into the magical pool, golden bubbles rose up and floated away. Bruno told her each bubble was carrying someone's wish — a sick child feeling better, a lost puppy finding home, a lonely child making a friend.
They played until sunset, creating hundreds of wishes. As the last bubble disappeared, Bruno grew transparent.
"Thank you for playing," he whispered. "Your belief in magic kept me real. But now, I must sleep until another child with a pure heart discovers this place."
The pool drained away, leaving only concrete. But in Lily's pocket, she found a small golden ball — the last wish bubble, just for her.
She wished that every child could have a magical friend like Bruno.
And somewhere, deep in the magic of the world, Bruno's bear ears twitched as he smiled in his sleep.
