The Magical Pool
Lily loved exploring the forest behind her house, especially during summer evenings. One day, she discovered something she had never seen before—a hidden **pool** of crystal-clear water tucked between ancient oak trees. The water shimmered with an otherworldly glow, even though no sunlight reached it through the thick canopy.
As she stepped closer, the sky suddenly darkened. A brilliant flash of **lightning** split the sky, followed by a rumble of thunder that made her heart race. But instead of being frightened, Lily felt drawn to the mysterious pool.
From the shadows emerged a large, friendly **bear** with soft brown fur and kind eyes. But something was strange—the bear moved slowly, like it was sleepwalking, almost like a magical **zombie** from her favorite storybooks.
"I'm not a zombie," the bear spoke softly, reading her thoughts. "I'm the guardian of this magical pool. The lightning gives it special powers to grant wishes, but only to those with pure hearts."
Lily's eyes widened with wonder. "Really? What kind of wishes?"
"Wishes that help others," the bear explained. "The pool has been waiting for someone like you—someone who believes in magic and kindness."
Another flash of lightning illuminated the pool, and Lily made her wish. She didn't wish for toys or treasures. Instead, she wished that every child in her neighborhood could find their own magical place to explore and dream.
The bear smiled, and the pool's glow intensified. "Your wish has been granted. The magic will spread through the hearts of all children who believe."
As the storm passed and the sun peeked through the trees, Lily knew she would never forget this magical adventure. She had learned that the greatest magic isn't in wishes granted—it's in the kindness we share with others.
