The Magical Goldfish's Secret

Lily loved visiting her grandma's house by the lake. Every summer, she'd spend hours sitting on the dock, dipping her feet in the cool blue water and dreaming of adventures.

One day, Lily dropped her iphone into the lake! She watched it sink with a splash. "Oh no!" she cried. But then, something magical happened.

A tiny goldfish popped its head above the water. "Don't worry, friend!" said the goldfish. "I'll help you!"

Lily couldn't believe her ears. The goldfish could talk!

"My name is Finley," the goldfish explained. "And I have a secret. I'm not just any goldfish. I'm a magical zombie goldfish!"

"A zombie?" Lily asked, eyes wide.

"Not a scary zombie!" Finley giggled. "A zombie goldfish means I can come back to help my friends, even when things seem impossible. And I can breathe underwater and talk to humans!"

Finley swam down deep and returned with Lily's phone, perfectly dry. "Magic water protects it," Finley explained. "Now, will you be my friend? I get lonely down here."

"Of course!" Lily said happily.

Every day that summer, Lily visited Finley. They played games, shared stories, and learned that true friendship doesn't care what someone looks like or where they come from. Finley taught Lily that even a small fish could be a big hero, and Lily taught Finley about the wonderful world above the water.

On the last day of summer, Finley gave Lily a special gift — a golden scale that would always remind her that magic exists in unexpected places, and the best friends are the ones who help you when you need them most.
