The Magical Garden's Secret Friend

Lily loved her garden, but she loved her fluffy golden dog, Sunny, even more. Every evening, they'd watch the sun dip below the trees together.

One night, Sunny started barking at something near the vegetable patch. Lily tiptoed closer, her heart beating fast. There, standing by the **spinach** plants, was a strange figure. It looked green and leafy, like a walking salad!

"Are you... a **zombie**?" Lily whispered, remembering the scary creatures from her big brother's video games.

The leafy figure shook its head slowly. "No, silly. I'm Sprout! I'm the garden's night guardian."

Sprout explained that while everyone slept, garden guardians came alive to help plants grow strong and healthy. They made sure every leaf got enough **water** and plenty of moonlight.

"But you look so..." Lily didn't want to be rude.

"Green and leafy?" Sprout laughed. "That's because I'm made of magic spinach! This garden grows the most powerful vegetables in the world. They're packed with extra **vitamin** magic that makes kids grow strong, smart, and brave."

Sunny wagged his tail, sensing Sprout was friendly.

"Want to see something amazing?" Sprout asked. He sprinkled glittering dust over the tomato plants. Instantly, tiny green tomatoes began to grow, turning red right before Lily's eyes!

"Wow!" Lily gasped. "Can you teach me how to make my garden grow like that?"

"You already have the magic," Sprout smiled. "Every time you plant with love, water with care, and believe in miracles, you're using garden magic. The secret ingredient isn't glitter or spells—it's patience and love."

Lily hugged Sprout goodbye, her heart full of wonder. That night, she dreamed of dancing vegetables and magical guardians.

The next morning, her mom noticed something different. "Lily, look at our garden! Everything grew so much overnight!"

Lily winked at Sunny, who gave a knowing bark. Some secrets are best kept between friends—especially the magical, leafy kind.

From then on, Lily never complained about eating her vegetables. She knew they were grown with magic, love, and a little help from a very special friend.
