The Magical Garden Game

Leo loved two things: his grandmother's garden and baseball. Every Saturday, he'd help Grandma plant seeds before running to the ballpark. One afternoon, while pulling weeds near the old oak tree, he discovered something strange – bright green **spinach** leaves that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight.

"That's not ordinary spinach," Grandma said with a wink. "That's courage spinach. Gives you bravery when you need it most."

Leo tried a leaf and felt warm and strong. That night, he heard scratching sounds from the garden. A small **zombie** with patchwork clothes and a kind face was stuck in the rosebushes! Instead of running away, Leo helped him free.

"Thank you," the zombie said softly. "I'm Benny. I'm not scary – I'm just lost and lonely."

Benny explained he'd been wandering for years, searching for the magical **sphinx** who guarded the Friendship Gate. The sphinx could grant wishes, but only to those brave enough to answer her riddle.

Leo shared his courage spinach with Benny. Together, they journeyed through the enchanted forest until they found the sphinx resting on a stone pedestal.

"What rolls but cannot walk?" the sphinx asked. "What brings joy but never talks?"

Leo thought hard. Then he remembered his favorite thing in the world.

"A **baseball**!" Leo exclaimed. "When it rolls, it can't walk. And playing baseball makes people happy, but the ball itself never speaks."

The sphinx smiled. "You are wise and kind. Your wish is granted."

Benny wished to find new friends who wouldn't judge him for being different. The sphinx cast a golden glow, and Benny's patchwork clothes transformed into a warm blue jacket. His gray skin turned rosy and healthy.

"Now I can finally join the community baseball team!" Benny cheered.

The sphinx nodded. "Remember, true courage isn't about being fearless. It's about doing the right thing even when you're afraid."

Leo and Benny ran back to Grandma's garden, where they became best friends. Every weekend, they played baseball with the neighborhood kids, and Leo always made sure to share his magical spinach with anyone who needed a little extra courage.
