The Magical Garden Friend

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's garden. One sunny afternoon, she discovered something strange near the old oak tree. A small figure with grassy hair and flower-petal skin stood there, looking sleepy.

"Are you a zombie?" Lily asked, remembering stories from her big brother's video games.

The creature shook its head slowly. "No zombie. Just a Garden Friend. I'm very tired."

Lily noticed her new friend looked weak and pale. "What's wrong?"

"The Magic Bull is sick too," the Garden Friend said sadly. "He guards the enchanted forest, but something drained his strength. Without him, the magic will fade."

Lily's grandmother had told her about the Magic Bull – a magnificent creature with golden horns and a coat like autumn leaves. "We have to help!"

The Garden Friend nodded. "There's only one thing that can save him. Rainbow Vitamins from the Sunflower Castle."

Lily's eyes sparkled. "Let's go!"

Hand in hand with her unlikely friend, Lily marched toward the tall sunflowers at the garden's edge. As they stepped through the giant flower archway, everything changed. The sky turned purple, and butterflies the size of dinner plates fluttered around them.

The path led to a golden castle where a wise old owl perched on a windowsill.

"Rainbow Vitamins for the Magic Bull?" the owl hooted. "First, you must answer: What makes someone strong?"

Lily thought carefully. "Muscles?"

The Garden Friend spoke up. "Friendship?"

The owl smiled. "Correct. True strength comes from friendship and kindness."

He handed them a shimmering jar containing pills in every color of the rainbow.

When they returned to the forest, the Magic Bull lay weak and trembling. Lily gently fed him the vitamins. Slowly, his golden horns began to glow, and his autumn-colored coat grew shiny again.

"Thank you," the Bull said, his voice deep and warm. "You've saved the forest's magic."

The Garden Friend looked stronger too, his flower-petal skin turning vibrant pink.

"We make a great team," Lily said, hugging her new friend.

From that day on, Lily learned that appearances don't matter – even someone who looks like a zombie can be the best friend you'll ever find. And sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can save the biggest magic.
