The Magical Cat's Padel Game
Luna was no ordinary cat. With bright purple fur and messy hair that stuck up in every direction, she lived in the most enchanted garden in the world. Behind Luna's favorite sunflower patch grew something magical—a papaya tree that sparkled like tiny stars.
Every morning, Luna practiced her favorite game: padel. She'd swat at magical berries with her paws, bouncing them against the enchanted wall. Whoosh! Bop! The berries would glow different colors each time they hit.
One sunny afternoon, Luna heard a sad sound coming from behind the papaya tree. There sat a zombie—a little green girl with patched-up overalls and stitches on her cheeks. But she didn't look scary at all. She looked lonely.
"Hello," said Luna, dropping her padel ball. "I'm Luna. What's your name?"
The zombie girl looked up with surprised button eyes. "I'm Zoe," she whispered. "Everyone runs away when they see me. They think I'm spooky."
Luna's hair twitched thoughtfully. "That's not fair. You seem very nice."
Zoe smiled shyly. "I love papayas. They're the only thing that makes my stitches feel happy."
Luna's eyes lit up. "Then come play padel with me! We can play for papayas!"
And that's how the most unlikely friendship began. Every day, Luna the cat and Zoe the zombie played padel together, laughing as the magical berries changed color—blue when Zoe scored, purple when Luna won. The other garden animals soon joined in, realizing Zoe wasn't scary at all.
The papaya tree grew bigger than ever, its fruit the sweetest in all the land.
Luna learned something wonderful that summer: sometimes the most different friends become the best friends of all. And Zoe? She finally found a place where she belonged, all thanks to a purple cat with messy hair and a magical padel ball.
From then on, anyone who visited their enchanted garden knew: never judge someone by how they look. True friendship sees with your heart, not your eyes.
