The Magical Baseball Pyramid

Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd grab his favorite cap—a bright blue hat with a lightning bolt—and run to the park. But today was different. Today, Leo's hat started to glow.

"Whoa!" Leo whispered. The glowing hat pulled him toward the old library garden. There, hidden behind rosebushes, something amazing appeared—a golden pyramid the size of a doghouse, shimmering like sunshine.

Leo stepped closer. The pyramid's sides unfolded like origami, revealing a tiny doorway.

"Come in!" a squeaky voice called.

Inside, Leo gasped. The pyramid was enormous! A fuzzy purple creature hopped on one leg. "I'm Pip! Will you help me? The Pyramid Guardians love baseball, but I'm terrible at catching!"

Leo's eyes widened. "Baseball? You play baseball?"

"It's our favorite game!" Pip handed Leo a tiny bat. "But if I lose, the pyramid will close forever!"

Outside, three floating stone guardians appeared. The first pitch sailed through the air. *SWING!* Leo hit it perfectly! He was running around the bases—first base, second base, third...

"Catch it, Pip!" Leo shouted.

Pip stretched all four arms—FOUR arms!—and snagged the ball just before it touched the ground. "We won!"

The pyramid glowed brighter than ever. The Guardians bowed respectfully. From inside the golden walls, something floated toward Leo—a baseball card with his picture on it.

"You're part of the pyramid family now," Pip said, hugging Leo's leg. "Visit anytime!"

Leo's hat stopped glowing. He found himself back in the library garden, clutching the magical baseball card. The little pyramid had shrunk back to hiding.

Running home, Leo realized something wonderful: sometimes the best adventures find you when you least expect them—and friendship can bloom in the most peculiar places, even inside a magical pyramid in the middle of a rosebush.

That night, Leo kept his hat on his bedside table. Just in case it decided to glow again.
