The Magic Water Window
Fin was a small goldfish who lived in a glass bowl on Mia's desk. Every day, he watched Mia do homework, draw pictures, and tap on her glowing iPhone.
"I wish I could see what she sees," Fin bubbled, swimming circles around his plastic castle.
One afternoon, Mia was Facilitating her grandmother. She laughed and leaned too far back—SPLASH! Her iPhone tumbled right into Fin's bowl.
"Oh no!" Mia cried, reaching in quickly. But something magical happened.
As the iPhone touched the water, its screen began to glow with rainbow colors. Bubbles rose around it like tiny pearls. Fin swam closer and gasped.
The screen showed not apps or games, but a whole underwater kingdom! Colorful fish darted through coral forests. Sea turtles glided peacefully. Crabs scuttled across sparkling sand.
"It's a window!" Fin whispered.
Milla froze. "Can... can you see that?"
Fin nodded and pressed his nose against the glass. The iPhone's screen rippled like real water. Suddenly, a voice echoed from it.
"Friend... friend..." whispered the magic iPhone. "Someone waits for you beyond the bowl."
Mia's eyes widened. "You can understand me?"
"All water is connected," the iPhone sang softly. "All friends find each other."
That evening, Mia did something surprising. She packed Fin into a special travel bag filled with water, grabbed her magical iPhone, and they walked to Crystal Lake together.
As Fin swam into his new home, he saw dozens of other goldfish. One特别 pretty one with orange spots swam right up to him.
"I'm Pearl," she bubbled. "Will you be my friend?"
Fin looked at Mia, who stood on the shore waving her iPhone. The screen showed two fish swimming together.
"Yes," Fin said. "I'd love that."
Mila visited every day. The magical iPhone stayed in her pocket, glowing softly whenever true friends—fish or human—were nearby.
Some accidents, Fin learned, are actually adventures in disguise.
