The Magic Vitamins of Starlight Forest

Lily discovered the glowing golden stones deep in Starlight Forest, where sunlight danced through leaves like fairy dust. Each stone pulsed with warmth, as if holding a tiny heartbeat. The oldest oak whispered, "These are magic vitamins from fallen stars, child. They grant courage to those who help others."

Curious, Lily picked up a shimmering blue stone. Suddenly, her feet tingled! She tried running across a mossy log, but instead of slipping, she leaped—up, up, UP into the treetops! She was running from branch to branch as if they were solid ground, the forest floor far below. Laughing with delight, she spotted a baby phoenix trapped in a thorny thicket, its golden feathers dull with fear.

"Hold tight!" Lily called, grabbing a green stone. The magic rushed through her like cool water. Suddenly, the air felt thick and swimmable, like an ocean made of sky! She started swimming—gliding through the air as if it were water, arms pulling her forward in graceful strokes.

The trapped phoenix watched with wide eyes as Lily swam closer, parting the thorny vines with gentle hands. "I'm here to help," she whispered. The baby bird chirped and climbed onto her shoulder. Together, they swam through the air, down, down, DOWN to the forest floor where the mother phoenix waited, her feathers blazing with gratitude.

"You used the star vitamins well," the phoenix sang. "For courage, not for show." She touched Lily's forehead with a golden wing. "Now everyone may visit Starlight Forest once each year—to run among treetops and swim through clouds, but only to help others."

Lily smiled, tucking the remaining stones back into the oak's roots. She'd learned that true magic wasn't in powers at all—it was in using whatever gifts you have to make someone's day brighter.

That night, as Lily drifted to sleep, she felt warm tingles in her toes. Maybe, just maybe, the star vitamins' magic had left one little spark behind—a reminder that every act of kindness makes you a little more magical than before.
