The Magic Vitamin Spy

Lily's grandmother handed her a small amber bottle. "These aren't ordinary vitamins, dear. These are magic drops - one drop of courage, two drops of kindness, three drops of curiosity."

Lily frowned. "But what do they DO?"

"They turn you into a spy for good," her grandmother whispered with a twinkle in her eye. "Not the sneaky kind. The kind who notices when someone needs help."

That afternoon, Lily took one drop. Suddenly, her dad's old iphone on the kitchen counter began to glow with golden light! It wasn't just a phone anymore - it showed her secret messages floating in the air around her neighbors' houses.

She saw Mr. Henderson's cloud of worry. His cat was stuck in a tree! She noticed Sophie's lonely cloud - she missed her grandma who lived far away. And there was Tommy's frustration cloud - he couldn't tie his shoelaces for soccer practice.

Lily's heart felt warm and tingly, like sunshine. The magic vitamin wasn't just courage - it was helping her see what really mattered.

"I can be a spy for good!" she whispered.

First, she helped rescue Mr. Henderson's cat with a ladder and some tuna. Next, she helped Sophie video-call her grandma using the glowing iphone. Finally, she sat with Tommy and taught him the bunny-ear knot for his shoelaces.

By dinner time, all the worry clouds had turned into sparkly hearts. The golden iphone's light faded to a soft, happy glow.

Her grandmother smiled as Lily bounced into the kitchen. "You used your drops well, little spy. The best kind of magic is helping others."

Lily grinned. "Can I take two drops tomorrow? There's so much good to spy on!"

And from that day on, Lily became known as the girl who always noticed - the best kind of spy of all.
