The Magic Vitamin Pool

Mia loved the old pool in her backyard, even though her brother called it boring. It was just a regular blue pool, or so she thought, until the day she met Oliver.

Oliver was a tiny green frog with bright golden eyes, sitting on a lily pad that had mysteriously appeared overnight.

"You're here on the right day," Oliver croaked. "Every full moon, this pool becomes magic."

Mia's eyes widened. "Really?"

Oliver nodded. "Throw something green into the pool, and watch what happens."

Mia ran to the kitchen, her feet running so fast across the grass. She grabbed a handful of spinach from the garden—her mom was always saying how good spinach was for her.

She dropped the spinach leaves into the pool. Suddenly, the water began to sparkle. Each spinach leaf transformed into a glowing green star, floating on the surface like tiny magical lanterns.

"Those are vitamin stars," Oliver explained. "Each one holds a special power. Catch them, and you'll discover your gift."

Mia jumped into the pool, laughing as she collected the glowing stars. As she touched each one, she felt warm and energized. When she climbed out, she realized something amazing—she felt light as a feather, full of endless energy.

"Try running," Oliver suggested.

Mia took off running across the yard. She ran and ran without getting tired. She ran around the whole neighborhood twice!

"The spinach stars gave you the power of endless energy," Oliver said with a smile. "But remember, Mia—true power isn't about running forever. It's about knowing when to stop and help others."

Mia stopped running and looked at Oliver. "You're right. I should share these stars with my friends."

The next moon, Mia invited all her friends to the magic pool. They threw spinach leaves together, and everyone caught a vitamin star. But instead of using their new powers just for themselves, they used them to help clean up the neighborhood park, carry groceries for elderly neighbors, and play with children who couldn't run fast.

And every full moon, Mia and her friends returned to the magic pool, always remembering Oliver's lesson: the greatest power of all is a kind heart.
